Google Earth proves that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is right
No human on earth can draw a straight line on the surface of the earth between two far cities except with the aid of detailed maps, made possible today due to airplanes, satellites, and knowledge of latitude, longitude, and land height. However, there was a person who had done this 1400 years ago. This person is the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).


While the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was in Madinah Al-Munawarah, Allah instructed him that he should face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque in Makkah. From then on, it became the Qiblah for Muslims. And from then on, Islam was spreading. After the victory of (Fatih Makkah) people came and entered Islam. Then, the prophet (peace be upon him) started to sent the teachers to these people to teach them Islam. One of them Wabr ibn Yohanas Al-Khozaee whom the prophet (peace be upon him) sent to Yemen (Sana'a). He was ordered to teach people of Sana and to build them a Mosque by features the prophet (peace be upon him) had defined to him.

Al-Tabarani narrates in the Mu'jam Al-wsat saying:

Wabr ibn Yohanas Al-Khozaee said: the prophet (peace be upon him) said to me ' if you build the mosque of Sana'a, make it to the right of a mountain called Deyn'

To explain, Al-Hafez Al-Rahzey says in his book 'The History of Sana'a) that the prophet (peace be upon him) ordered Wabr ibn Yohanas Al-Khozaee to build the mosque in Bathan park, from where is found a rock in Gamdan and face it to a mountain called Deyn

The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),1400 years age, ordered to build the mosque Sana'a facing Jabal-e-deen .If we use Google Earth and draw a straight line from the mosque Sana'a to the Qibla which is in Makkah, it will pass through the peak of jabal-e-deen and will end at the center of Kaba.


How could someone 1400 years ago have shown the exact direction for kaba from a far away city without using the new aids needed for such a process?

Welder’s love plans unscrewed

JOHOR BARU: A welder who tried to elongate his penis with a nut found himself in a pickle when the nut got stuck after he had an erection.

The victim, from Taman Sri Skudai, had apparently been trying to increase the length of his penis ahead of his engagement next week when disaster struck.

It is learnt that the incident occurred on Thursday and the 20-something-year-old victim went to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here to seek treatment when he was unable to get the nut off himself.

Unfortunately, hospital authorities were at a loss and had to call the Fire and Rescue Department for assistance.

A department spokesman confirmed that they received a call from the hospital yesterday, and sent seven firemen to help out.

They, too, were unable to remove the nut.

At press time, the nut was still firmly attached to the base of the man’s genitals.

This is the second case in the past week involving objects stuck on penises. On Aug 25, firemen were summoned to the University Malaya Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur to cut a steel ring from a patient’s penis after numerous attempts by doctors failed to dislodge it. It is believed the patient, in his 20s, had slipped the ring onto his penis to increase his sexual prowess.

After confirming her pregnancy back in May, mommy-to-be Ashlee Simpson’s baby belly is continuing to grow as she and her rocker hubby Pete Wentz have been busy preparing their home for their new addition.

During a recent interview while promoting Request clothing line in Canada, Simpson told press: “We’re getting the nursery ready, I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun. I have the greatest husband.”

Talking about her Fall Out Boy beau, Ashlee adds: “He’s so awesome. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with.”

The “Outta My head” singer also spoke about the importance of having her family around during this time, saying: “My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice, but it’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away.”

The musical parents-to-be have yet to decide on a name for their first child. Simpson joked about naming the baby “Orange” but says they won’t decide on a name until the baby is born.

Although she has been writing a few new tunes, when asked if she plans to get back into the studio anytime soon, Simpson replied: “The baby is my main focus right now. We’re both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life.”

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, or make that a group of 13 females who were

shortchanged. Such was the case that involved Malaysians Ida Nerina, 44, and her best friend Tania Khan, 36, in, of all places, a luxury resort! Throw in a hen's party, a burnt rug, hotel management and even the police and the mixture is a potent one that shows what these two will do to get what they deserve.

Recalls Ida, "All 13 of us were held hostage by the hotel who blamed us for a carpet burn that we did not cause. Even the police got involved. It was so traumatic."

The ladies insisted on their innocence but the hotel refused to let them leave and even locked the gates. "Due to the trauma, we caused a ruckus on the plane," adds Tania, a mother of an 11 year old daughter and a 10 month old baby, who despite her sheepishness at admitting the event, displays an inner strength. So just because there are now only two of them doesn't mean their combo is any less potent. If history is anything to go by, they are not pushovers simply because of their age or reputation.

On paper, they are two very different people – Ida is a homegrown actress with 16 movies under her belt, Ida is a media star compared her more corporate driven, property developer buddy. "We're both bubbly, dramatic, kind-hearted, fiercely loyal to our friends and klutzy. We're often the first to jump into the deep end of any adventure," describes Ida on their similarities.

"Tania and I just thought it would be fun to try out together too. Tania is so game for adventure and is always fun to be around and just as dramatic as I am," says Ida.

One thing they both hope to achieve, other than taking home the top prize, is the chance to see the world from a new perspective. Ida admits, "We've shared some great trips together and who better to see if you can backpack the world with as neither of us have ever done it (referring to backpacking)."

Hopefully, these attributes will make up for some of their shortfalls which includes indecisiveness on Tania's part, and weak ankles for Ida, which are not good for running she says jokingly.

Underneath the playful exterior though is a person who bears grudges more than she wants to, so the other teams better not cross Ida, less she unleashes her anger on them. "I'll scream my head off, then apologise to whoever's in the way."

‘Inseparable’ couple referred to hospital for separation

Husband said to have asked bomoh to ‘lock’ wife’s body when she committed adultery

SIBU: A couple was said to have sought medical help last Saturday after their bodies became “inseparable” in an intimate relationship while they were romancing at a beach in Mukah last Saturday night.

In the romantic affair, the couple was said to have become helpless, and when they found no way to separate their bodies, they called for help from a friend.

Their friend came to wrap them in a ‘sarung’ and send them to the hospital in Mukah. The hospital in the coastal town referred the couple to Sibu.

The medical staff members here were informed of the incident, but in their journey to the hospital here, the bodies of the couple ‘loosened up’, and the vehicle that took them here turned back to their hometown.

Following the incident, the news spread in Mukah. Some curious readers even called the reporters for confirmation of the case.

A medical staff member here, who refused to reveal his identity, said they did receive the notification of the referral case from Mukah, “but the locked-together couple did not turn up”.

According to a source, the man and the woman were both in their 30s. It was said that they were both married.

When the husband of the woman was out of town last weekend, the couple got together for a night of romance.

The source also claimed that the husband of the woman had earlier been suspicious of his wife whenever he was not in town.

To catch her in the act, he was said to have sought help from a bomoh to “lock her body up with the man” when they committed adultery.

Chairman of Malaysia Medical Association, Sibu Sub-branch Dr Hu Chang Hock, when contacted, confirmed that such cases known medically as varinismus did occur, but the occurrences were rare.

“It normally happens when the couple making love are psychologically anxious. For example, the situation could happen when a couple is having an illegitimate affair.”

He said before the occurrence, there was a painful vaginal muscle contraction and spasm, “and this virtually locks the two bodies together, making them inseparable.”

On ways to avoid it, he said the advice should come from a psychologist.

On medical treatment, he said the woman could be given muscle relaxant injection to let the muscles in her body relax.

He said no such case had ever been referred to him.

KUALA LUMPUR: Lowering the price of petrol to RM2 per litre is possible but there are implications, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Abdul Razak.

"Anything is possible. It depends on how much you want to set aside for subsidy," he said.

However, he said, at the current rate, the subsidy was already huge.

On Sunday, PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim promised that he would fix the petrol price at RM2 per litre if Pakatan Rakyat succeeded in forming the government. The RM2 per litre is a 50 sen decrease from his earlier promised price.

"The worldwide trend is moving towards world market price. What he is suggesting has implications," said Najib.

At the same time, the subsidy bill would be enormous and it would encourage energy consumption instead of conservation, he said.

"It is another example of his populist approach," he said Monday after launching the 13th civil service conference on Taking Charge: Leadership in the Public Service.

On Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's decision to defend his Umno vice-president's post instead of contesting one of the top two posts as speculated, Najib said he respected his decision.

"I am sure he has given serious thought to it. Obviously, he wants to be a team player and does not want to disrupt the leadership and transition plan that has been announced by the Prime Minister," he said.

Sarawak Regatta 2008. At Sarawak River. The Hon. Chief Minister of Sarawak officiating the start of the event. In his speech the Hon. Pehin Sri recalled the history of regatta which traced back during the 2nd white Rajah rule. This year’s

regatta took the theme “ Race for peace.” Regatta was held long time ago in Sarawak by the Brooke a step taken by by Charles Brooke to prevent the fighting amongst the natives of Sarawak.

During the 60s when regatta was held in Kuching, a lot of boat anchored at Sarawak river especially in front of Astana and Cheko. Boats came mostly from the coastal villages from Samarahan areas and some as far as Saribas area.

It is interesting to ponder why was the theme of the regatta this year “Race for Peace”?
