ELIGIBILITY
- Applicant is born in Kedah State or one of the parents (Father or Mother) is born in Kedah State.
- Received an offer from a LOCAL institution
- FULL TIME studies for the level of certificate, diploma, first degree, masters and PhD.
- Not receiving any other sponsorship.
- Pursue the studies in the institution of higher learning which is sponsored.
LOAN RATES
- Certificate: RM 2,000.00 per year
- Diploma: RM 3,000.00 per year
- First Degree: RM 5,000.00 per year
- Masters: RM 6,000.00 per year
- PhD: RM 7,500.00 per year

- Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR)
- Universiti Darul Iman (UDM) dahulunya dikenali Kolej Ugama Sultan Zainal Abidin (KUSZA)
- Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UMAP) dahulunya dikenali Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia (KUKUM)
- Kolej Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn (KUiTTHO)

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
- Application begins from 15 June until 30 July every year
- Application for the year of 2008 will be begin from 15 June 2008
- Application is made online beginning from 2007
- Announcement for the loan application will be made on the newspapers and website
- Students who fulfil the criteria will be considered for the LBNK loan.
